UPEI to design, build toaster-sized space satellite
"UPEI was one of 15 post-secondary schools across Canada chosen to take part in the Canadian Space Agency's CubeSat project."
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a satellite built by UPEI engineering students
“It really has been a fantastic experience and the space agency is really good if you want clients, they’ve got webinars, there is a lot of training they do. They are inviting some of the students to the space agency in May for some workshops.”
UPEI to design toaster-size satellite as part of national space agency initiative
“Our students will use their knowledge and understanding of physics to design, fabricate, test and analyze lenses and other optical components and fit everything inside the toaster.”

'We can't necessarily simulate it here on Earth so we have to make sure that we design it quite well'
