IMPEDANCE TEST
The transceiver from Baofeng is not rated for an output impedance. There is some documentation on the radio pertaining to stock antenna impedance, but it is unknown whether or not this has any bearing on the output impedance. Testing was done to determine this impedance because it needs to match the antenna's.

TRANSMISSION TEST
To test the transceivers two of the same model were each connected to a laptop and moved 40m apart. One acted as the transmitter while the other acted as a receiver, to test their ability to transmit and receive at distances as well as the amount of time it took for the message to be received.
