STRUCTURE & PAYLOAD TESTING
STRUCTURAL TEST
The structural test was done to determine if the design could withstand the required 1200N of force. That's equivalent to about 122kg or over 260lbs. This test was done using a machine called a tensile tester, which can be seen in the picture to the right.
THERMAL TEST
The thermal test was done using a radiator to determine the parameters needed for calculating the internal temperature of the structure. This is important considering the sensitivity of the components that will be housed inside.
