SOLAR PANELS
The solar panel design not only required the selection of a panel material, but determination of the number and layout of cells on each side of the CubeSat. The final selected design was an array of gallium arsenide cells seen in the configuration to the right. These cells offer an estimated energy production of 3.8Wh per side

BATTERY
The battery needs to be able to store the energy captured by solar panels covering the CubeSat. After doing extensive research and analysis, the team decided a a Lithium-Titanate chemistry would be the optimal choice, but due to availability they opted for a Lithium-Polymer battery with 10Wh of energy storage.
